Exquisite villa set on the luxurious private beach community, Los Nomadas. 24/7 security, private pool, enclosed in a lush tropical garden for greater intimacy at only 200 meters from the secluded Cosón Beach, electric included. The ideal place for a wondrous holiday!!!

This peaceful getaway villa with soaring cathedral ceilings is clustered in the center of a lush tropical landscaped garden surrounding it for greater intimacy. It’s located in the luxurious gated community of Los Nómadas, just a few steps away from the secluded Cosón beach in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic.
Villa Melo consists of a main building with 3 bedrooms and 2,5 bathrooms, plus a separate bedroom/bungalow with a full bathroom (Total 4 bdrms). Living room and kitchen, outside the entry but under the same roof, we find the open terrace with lounge area, dinning table for eight, chaise lounge, BBQ and hammock overlooking the private pool and blue skies. The premises occupy an area of 1,200 sq. meters on a private plot of land. The villa is equipped with satellite TV, soundbar, WiFi, roofed parking spaces for up to three cars, gas BBQ and fully equipped kitchen with drinking water from cooler.
We offer all linens and sanitary products, daily house cleaning, and pool and gardening maintenance services.
Electricity is included for the house and there are ceiling fans in all living spaces, including bedrooms. Electricity for the air conditioners is not included in the reservation. A separate electric meter will be shown to you at check-in and check-out for payment.
We offer our guesthouse-bungalow to groups larger than seven. It has a double bed and bathroom. For groups under seven it is available for an additional fee.

Guillermina, our cleaning person will be present daily, except Saturday or Sunday, depending on check-out day. She can cook for you at a small fee. You need to make arrangements directly with her upon arrival. Willy our maintenance person will be there to assist. He can help arrange any excursions in the area: whale watching, horse back riding, snorkeling, quad riding, Limón waterfalls, kite surf, etc

Summary: Villa Melo is located at the far back of the Los Nomades gated community about 3-5 minutes walk to the beach. Beach front is private and beautiful. It allows for long walks along the coast from playa Bonita all the way west to playa Coson. There are spectacular views along the coast and several good restaurants, mostly in playa Bonita. We ate out a lot and we once did not have a bad meal. Also very reasonably priced. Access road to the community is muddy with baby-pool size pot holes. A 4WD with high clearance is highly recommended if you are renting a car. Otherwise property is well protected and illuminated at night and feels safe. The villa is spacious, well laid out and offers many private spaces to relax and enjoy your vacation. It comfortably sleeps 9 people + 1 cod bed in case your party has 10 people. Beach towels and regular towels are plenty any included. We were just 4 adults and 2 kids so we had plenty of space. WiFi works well too, in case you need to do some remote work while you're there. Kitchen is vast with massive countertop but offers a relatively small fringe for this size house. There is a water fountain with replacement bottles located on the property so you do not need buy water while you're there. Kitchen does not however have a dishwasher which is sort of a nuisance. There is a coffee maker, blender, microwave and a small toaster too. Plenty of pots and pans and only plastic water glasses and coffee cups. So if you want to enjoy a glass of wine you'll have to decant it in a plastic 16oz pool glass or a coffee mug. There were NO condiments in the kitchen - literally none. Just some left over ice from the party before us. We arrived at 8PM pretty tired from the trip and had to go to the town to the store for the basics for the next day. Property also has a decent size grill and opened kitchen so that you can interact with the guest while cooking. We found this feature to be really great. The area experiences unexpected power outages! There is a generator at the property but it is locked in the pool filter shack. Make sure you request a key so you have access to the generator. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back at our next opportunity now that we know what to expect and are much better prepared.
